Privacy Policy

How Loftis collects, uses, protects, and shares information, including data accessed through connected services such as QuickBooks Online.

Effective date: August 30, 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide to Loftis, such as account details, property information, tenant and lease records, maintenance information, documents, and other data you choose to store in the Service.

We may also collect technical and usage information such as device and browser information, log data, approximate location derived from network information, feature usage, and security events needed to operate and protect the Service.

2. QuickBooks Online and Intuit Data

If you connect QuickBooks Online, Loftis receives authorization to access the QuickBooks company you select through Intuit's OAuth process. We access only the data and permissions needed to provide the QuickBooks features you enable.

Depending on the feature, this may include company identifiers and accounting records needed to synchronize Loftis tenants with QuickBooks customers and Loftis properties with QuickBooks classes, along with related synchronization metadata.

Loftis does not sell Intuit data. We do not use Intuit data for advertising, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties except service providers acting on our behalf or where disclosure is required by law.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide, maintain, and secure Loftis.
  • Operate owner and tenant workflows and user-requested integrations.
  • Process and display property, lease, payment, service, and accounting information.
  • Diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and improve reliability and usability.
  • Respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information with vendors that provide infrastructure, hosting, payments, communications, mapping, analytics, authentication, accounting integrations, or other services necessary to operate Loftis. These providers receive information only as needed to perform services for us and are expected to protect it appropriately.

We may also disclose information when required to comply with law, protect users or the Service, investigate fraud or security incidents, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

5. Payment Information

Payment-card and bank-account information may be collected and processed by our payment providers rather than stored directly by Loftis. Loftis may receive transaction identifiers, statuses, amounts, and other payment metadata needed to provide payment and reconciliation features.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to technical backup cycles and legal retention requirements.

7. Disconnecting QuickBooks and Data Deletion

You can disconnect QuickBooks from Loftis or revoke Loftis access through your Intuit account. Disconnecting stops future API access but may not automatically delete information that was previously synchronized into Loftis.

You may request deletion of account or integration data through the support or contact channels available in Loftis. We will process valid requests subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, and backup-retention obligations.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No system can guarantee absolute security, and users are responsible for protecting their credentials and devices.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Requests can be submitted through Loftis support or contact channels. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

10. Children's Privacy

Loftis is a business and real-estate management service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Service.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Service, our practices, or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

12. Contact

Questions or requests about privacy, account information, or connected-app data can be submitted through the support or contact channels made available in Loftis or on the Loftis website.
